The Most Innovative Hotels of 2014: Emirates Palace
A week ago Virtuoso Life Magazine announced the nominees for “The Most Innovative Guest Experience” at a hotel, and we’re honoring the nominees with a special feature each week. We first featured Carlisle Bay Resort for the unique yachting experience they offer guests. This time around, the location and resort couldn’t be any more exotic and luxurious: the Emirates Palace in the UAE. Located right on one of Abu Dhabi’s luxe beaches, the resort lives up to its name and features palace-like architecture and deluxe rooms and suites. Thanks to special summer deals, their lowest price for a one night bedroom is around $270.
Yet Emirates Palace is not being featured for its elegance, but rather for the incredible opportunities and activities it offers its guests. Guests get to go snorkeling in the coral reefs and get a chance to swim with dolphins, and swim around underwater statues. Oh, and did we mention that David Blaine is making his Middle Eastern performance debut here?
