Everyone deserves a glamorous vacation.

Everyone deserves a glamorous vacation.

We all want to travel like the most elite Hollywood celebrities – heading to places like St. Tropez, Lake Como and Bora Bora, which are glittering with famous stars and loaded with luxury resorts, cruiselines and exotic bungalows. Whether you're willing to bite the bullet and plan exotic vacations to these top celebrity hot spots or would prefer to explore similar, yet slightly more affordable locales, there are a variety of options available.

Here are a handful of the most glamorous travelers' favorite destinations when they're in need of some rest and relaxation:

Saint Tropez
With a guest list like, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Kate Hudson, Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss, it's no surprise that luxury-seeking globetrotters want to jump on the VIP Saint Tropez train. Situated on the French Riviera, the glamorous locale was first made famous by the beautiful Brigitte Bardot and has since erupted as a prime destination for relaxing vacations. Villas, luxury hotels and private resorts abound, catering to visitors' every need whether they're looking for an intimate, romantic getaway or a full-blown party with a large group of thrill-seeking friends.

Plan B: If you're looking for luxury at a slightly lower price, Montenegro can answer all of your exotic vacation prayers. Named one of the top 10 travel destinations in the world in 2013 by Lonely Planet, this country is brimming with adventure opportunities, but can also give you all of the VIP spa, dining and nightlife experiences you crave.

Lake Como
The Italian Lakes are quite obviously a prime travel destination, as made clear by George Clooney, who frequently invites Hollywood stars to his lakeside villa for a relaxing stay. Richard Branson is another mogul who has been spotted vacationing here, soaking up the gorgeous Italian vistas and the calm surroundings of the quiet coastal villages. If you do plan to stay here, reserving a villa is your best bet – who knows, you might even found yourself brushing shoulders with Clooney himself.

Plan B: Another European country that boasts its own beautiful lake district is England. The popular locale is ideal for adventure seekers, as there are numerous hiking trails and boating opportunities among this unique wilderness in England.

Bora Bora
Whether you're looking for vacations onboard cruiselines or tucked away in an exotic bungalow, you can take a respite like Sharon Stone, Nicole Kidman or Eva Longoria by choosing a getaway to Bora Bora. Called the Pearl of the Pacific by Captain Cook, the island is spectacular for any occasion, but for many, there might be no better choice for destination weddings or honeymoons.

Plan B: According to Arabella Bowen of Fodor's, Belize equals all the beauty of Bora Bora with a little less of the cost.

"Belize is a great alternative to Bora Bora, with its breathtaking beaches, stunning waterfalls, large coral reefs and fantastic snorkeling and diving," Bowen told Fox News Magazine.
