When fashion week rolls around, celebrities come running. This event has seen the hottest Hollywood stars sitting in the front row at a number of Paris Fashion Week runway shows, including Givenchy, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Chanel and Saint Laurent, among others. If it's fashion-focused travel you crave, then follow the moves of these style-savvy A-listers and see to which chic city their stiletto heels take them.

Seen at Stella
Nicole Richie has been constantly posting updates on her Instagram feed, showing fashion hounds and fans her looks while attending shows by Stella McCartney. The starlet chose black-and-white ensembles, possibly to offset the daring looks that strutted across the catwalk only a few feet in front of her. She also sat front row at Givenchy with other celebrities, including Amanda Seyfried, Jessica Chastain and expecting couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

Kanye and Kim take Paris
Speaking of "Kimye," the pair can be seen splashed across nearly every tabloid dressed in complementary suits – Kim in all-black, Kanye in all-white – and sitting front row to see Riccardo Tisci's collection for Givenchy storm the stage. While it has not been reported, the pair have likely made the most of their French getaway, as they do all of their lavish excursions, dining at elite restaurants and staying at the city's top luxury hotels.

Saint Laurent stuns, and confuses some
The slew of celebrities seen at the Saint Laurent Fall/Winter 2013 show, as well as the hundreds of onlookers in the rows farther back, had mixed feelings about the collection that came gliding down the runway. Kirsten Dunst, Jessica Chastain, Anna Wintour and Sky Ferreira were just a few of the familiar faces seen in the front rows of the show featuring a collection by Heidi Slimane. The grunge '90s look did not go over so well in social media networks like Twitter, where critics claimed the look was cheap and overdone.

See for yourself
While celebrities have taken over the rows closest to the stage, residents and visitors to Paris made the streets shine with their eclectic style. These types of major fashion events often inspire luxury travelers and city dwellers to put their best fashion foot forward and flaunt their own collection. Street style has become a universal phenomenon, making it rather common for you to be asked to have your picture taken at random, especially if you're dressed to the nines.
