Kate Hudson supports her beau at Muse show in London

By on February 20, 2013

It's easy to show support for your significant other when he's a rocker like Muse frontman Matt Bellamy. Actress Kate Hudson was recently spotted heading into the War Child BRIT Awards Concert with Muse at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire, one of London's premiere music venues. Scheduled two nights before the 2013 BRIT Awards, the event is an annual tradition in England's capital city and supports the War Child charity organization, which helps protect young children in war zones across the globe.

Bellamy, who is currently engaged to the American starlet, and the rest of Muse have been nominated for Best British Group and British Live Act at this year's awards show. The band has been an ardent supporter of War Child since 2002.

"We are proud to have a continuing association with War Child, who have been doing amazing work over the last 20 years," Bellamy said. "It's great to see their efforts being recognized at this year's BRITS and we are really looking forward to playing this special show for them."

Hudson got the VIP treatment for her fiance's special show, and is likely making the most of her London rendezvous with the rocker for the rest of their stay.

Even if your beau isn't headlining a show at the O2, the venue is a prime place to see today's greatest acts in music. Over the next couple months, artists like The Lumineers, Bastille and Of Monsters and Men will perform to sold-out crowds at the venue. These acts are ones you should certainly catch live, even if that means you have to book flights to exotic cities like London and make a luxury vacation out of it. Some shows that you can still catch at the O2 if you rent London hotels or vacation rentals in the coming months include Beach House, Poliça, The Felice Brothers or even comedian Rob Delaney.
