Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell going strong in Mexico

Any women nearing their 50s and 60s can look to Goldie Hawn for some inspiration – the 67-year-old Hollywood starlet rocked a red bathing suit during her tropical vacation in Mexico with long-time partner, Kurt Russell. The pair stayed in one of Mexico's elite luxury resorts and enjoyed adventurous activities during their stay – swimming with dolphins and touring the Mayan Ruins, among other excursions.

The couple has been together since 1983, staying devoted but not married, a fact that Hawn has confronted with the media on more than one occasion.

"We have done just perfectly without marrying," Hawn told Australia's Woman's Day magazine. "I already feel devoted and isn't that what marriage is supposed to do? So as long as my emotional state is in a state of devotion, honesty, caring and loving, then we're fine."

They seemed extremely devoted to each other while playing in the water at Puerto Aventuras, a gorgeous Mexican resort in the Riviera Maya with a Thomas Leman-designed golf course, gourmet restaurants and a number of fun adventure activities, including swimming with dolphins, which they took full advantage of.

After cooling off in the water, the two ventured off to the Mayan Ruins, dressed down in lightweight clothes to ward off the tropical rays. They jumped right into a tour with other vacationers in Mexico, following a local guide who revealed the details of some of the ancient buildings, like the Temple of the Frescoes, El Castillo and the gorgeous beach that resides at the Tulum ruins. This stretch of sand happens to be one of the most stunning along the Riviera Maya, as it's quieter and surrounded by towering cliffs and the site of the ruins.

If you're looking for an adventure-filled vacation that also emphasizes relaxation, consider taking a tip from Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell and plan your own trip to Mexico.
