Former Real Housewife of New York Bethenny Frankel may be going through some tough times as she prepares for divorce from husband Jason Hoppy, but that’s not keeping her from spending some quality time with her 2-year-old daughter Bryn. With daughter in tow, the reality TV star decided to turn her frown upside down with a jaunt to “the Happiest Place on Earth” earlier this week alongside fellow reality TV alum Kyle Richards and her daughter Portia.

The quartet of ladies spent the day exploring Disneyland’s magic kingdom, with Richards, of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” fame, tweeting a picture of them all enjoying a special moment with princess Ariel from the “Little Mermaid” movies.

“Had the best mommy/daughter day yesterday with Bethenny, Bryn and Portia at Disneyland stalking princesses all day,” the 44-year old Richards told her followers.

Disneyland has long been a popular escape for families, establishing itself as the premier destination in the Anaheim area. While Mickey Mouse may be the most popular attraction in the region, there are plenty of great destinations for families to visit while staying in Southern California.

Parents can even watch their children’s performance from the onsite Officer’s Club, a waiting room area that shows a digital representation of your little pilot’s first flight.

If you were hoping to have a cooler time in Southern California, Anaheim Ice is an indoor ice rink complex that is great for would be figure skaters or hockey stars. This remarkable building was designed by master architect Frank Gehry, and serves as the practice rink for the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks.
